Invisalign is a discreet treatment option to straighten your teeth and give you the smile of your dreams. Our team will help you decide if Invisalign is the best treatment option for you. Over 70% of orthodontists in the United States and Canada are qualified to offer Invisalign treatment.
What is it?
Invisalign can be a good treatment option if you would like to achieve a straighter smile but don’t want metal braces. Invisalign is practically invisible, removable, and are more comfortable than traditional braces. They are custom-made using advanced 3D computer imaging technology and are just as efficient as metal braces.
Why would I want it?
The aligners are removable, which allows you to eat and drink what you want during your treatment period. You are able to brush and floss with ease without having to make your way around and between metal wires and brackets. With Invisalign's smooth design, they offer more comfort than traditional braces because you don’t have anything jabbing or cutting the inside of your mouth. No wires or brackets means less time you spend in our office having them adjusted. We also give you access to your virtual treatment plan to see how your smile will look after treatment.
How does it work?
With Invisalign Boise and surrounding communities can wear aligners for two weeks, taking them out only when you are eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. Your teeth are continuously moving and once you replace your aligners, your teeth will shift to match the new ones until they are perfectly aligned. You will come see us every six weeks to make sure your aligners are working as they should and your teeth are aligning as planned. While every patient is different, treatment time generally lasts nine to 15 months and patients usually wear between 18 to 30 different aligners during that time.
