  • Braces Boise orthodontistIt is common to feel a bit anxious when you first visit our Boise orthodontist office.  After all, you’ve been told by your dentist that you would benefit from our services, but other than that, you’re not sure what to expect.  You may need an appliance like a retainer or braces.  Perhaps an orthodontic appliance needs to be used in order to correct your bite.  The good news is that you are not alone and you can rely on our team of orthodontia experts; knowing your oral health is good hands.

    What are your options?

Your Boise orthodontist treatment options will vary depending on your needs.  The initial appointment is structured to review your current oral health as well as your goals.  What do you want your smile to look like?  What can our team do to achieve your goals, or improve upon them?  We use the first appointment to talk through the variable and services.  We’ll cover every question we can until you feel comfortable with our recommendation.  Various types of braces are discussed as well as how to care for them and your teeth.

    The First Appointment

The first office visit consultation is typically about an hour.  We may take X-Rays or an impression of your mouth.  We’ll utilize state of the art technology to take digital photos as well.  We use these tools to determine the most effective and efficient way to fix your smile.  It’s a great time to ask questions and to discuss how braces or orthodontia work will affect your normal routine.  The best thing about your first appointment, is that it is only a meeting; a chance to learn more and discuss your concerns.
